Inside Sales Associate

It’s been over 50 years since we have seen any major innovation in the construction industry. Other sectors such as technology and finance continually advance in innovation whilst construction is seemingly left behind. That’s where Gement comes in! We help to raise awareness of careers in the construction and building materials industry for all levels of experience including but not limited to students, graduates, and experienced professionals. We work with our dedicated partners to showcase opportunities and increase the percentage of BAME and females in the industry. Throughout the year we also run special workshops and conferences around the topics of sustainable building and special cements.

 

Job Description

We are looking for someone passionate about making change, and disrupting the current market to bring about new innovation in the industry! You’ll join our fantastic team where you’ll grow and maintain our base of clients and potential clients. There are also plenty of opportunities available to learn and develop while helping achieve team success. You should also have a keen desire to build on your skill set, evidence of organisational skills and be able to hit the ground running within a fast-paced environment. As a small but growing start-up, our staff are at the core of Gement; you will play a crucial role here and your ideas and decisions will always be at the centre of our activities.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Unearth new sales opportunities through networking

  • Build new customer relationships as well as maintain and deepen existing customer relationships

  • Create, update and execute company sales activity plans

  • Create and maintain a database of current and potential customers using our CRM tool, Hubspot, and Excel

  • Research and identify new potential customers through LinkedIn and our existing customer base

  • Understand customers’ needs and identify sales opportunities from customer pains

 

Skills
  • Ability to build strong working relationships

  • Ability to work remotely with a continually evolving work plan

  • Ability to plan and bring new ideas to the table

  • Excellent communication skills and good written English

  • Interest in working in a company that promotes sustainability

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment

  • Pro-active individual with a “can do” attitude who focuses and commits
